5 Things I Did While in Quarantine

Since Covid-19 hit the world like fire, our lives have been paused for a while and we are living in slow motion. The world seems to have stopped in 2020 since the pandemic hit. Many businesses have closed down, and so many people have lost their jobs.
We have too much time on our hands that we don’t even know what to do next. Some of us are really bored we started to do things that we don’t normally do.
I, on the other hand, have tried to be very productive while in quarantine at home.
Having said that, here are the five things I did while in quarantine:
1. EAT HEALTHY, BE HEALTHY, AND STAY HEALTHY.


I worked out and eat healthy food. During this pandemic, our health has been our number one priority. Not our jobs, not our hobbies, and definitely not our OOTDs. That’s why working out and eating healthy food are the first things I did while in quarantine. It’s also a chance for me to achieve my dream body and desired weight so I took this as a challenge. Also, working out has been my stress reliever and it helped me clear my mind off things and thus, greatly benefit my good mental state.
2. LEARN SOMETHING NEW AND UPSKILL!

I took courses from MOOCs (massive open online courses). Having so much time on my hands, I took the liberty of acquiring new skills to boost up my resume while in quarantine. I researched a ton of online courses and chose the best platforms to learn from. I must say that I had fun studying and learning from it. It just proves that when we are not forced to do things, in this case studying and learning, we enjoy it. And that’s something to ponder about.

3. COME BACK TO YOUR PASSION.

I started playing my guitar again and I bought a new instrument. Because of the pandemic, we now have the time to do our hobbies and things we are passionate about. That’s why I started playing my guitar again after so long. I even bought a new instrument – a Ukulele!
4. DON’T FORGET TO HAVE FUN!

I had fun doing funny videos, playing with our dogs, and spending time with my family. As much as I want to be productive while in quarantine, I made sure that I also have rest days and to do something fun. That’s why I got into making funny videos which I don’t normally do. It’s also a chance for me to showcase my quirky side to other people. I also played with our dogs and spent time with my family which is awesome.

5. START A NEW PROJECT.
I launched and started my own personal website. It has been my frustration to write essays so this is me overcoming my fears, and proving to myself that I can do whatever I set my mind to. And I know you can do it too!
And that’s it. We all have our own timelines and things that we want to do in our lives. Don’t look at other people’s journey and focus on your own. We have our own different journeys and that what makes us unique. Focus on doing you and being better than your former self. Take care of your physical and mental health at your own pace. You can do it!
